I haven’t gone to the Dentist since, some Doctors give patients horrible experience and milk their patients with ungodly amount of debt. I’m giving it a 5 for Dr. Davis Do, the staff, and for the fact that it’s the first time ever where I didn’t feel pressured to do any work on my mouth.They also have the latest technology like the Itero 3D scanner for your mouth. I think that was pretty dope.I do highly recommend to always get your statements from first visit and every visit u do as there is human error sometimes. Also, know your your tooth numbers… that way you don’t get confuse what tooth they’re going to be working on.I’m only going to Dr. Davis Do. If he ever gets his on practice. I’d probably follow him due to the fact that it’s very difficult to enjoy going to the Dentist. I was referred to him and I’m practically iffy of even going to any dentist.PS. Too many Dentist charge their patient for unnecessary work. First time visiting and had such a great experience!!! Making a switch to this dentist was definitely the best choice ! Dr.Jamie was amazing and made sure to take care of my main problem first before anything else which was very well explained and was very professional & quick with time! First impressions of this dental was a good one! The office is very clean (including the restrooms) and the young ladies at the front desk are very attentive. At each appointment the Doctors took their time explaining what work needed to be done.One issue: I received a call from the receptionist explaining that their was an issue with the billing and that her new accounting manager would call me later that day to discuss further. I received her call within the hour. We both went over the account in detail and she kept on reviewing all statements until she was able to resolve it. Let me tell you something. I don't normally write reviews unless it's exceptional, or horrible work. There's no Gray area. The doctors, the staff, everyone here is A plus status I my book. I do not do the dentist, nor do my kids. Last time I went was in 2019. It's 2023 lol. But no matter where I reside, I will never change my dentist office with dental express in santee! I've dealt with every doctor, every assistant, every receptionist. There isn't a favorite because they all go above and beyond. Had extractions done, deep cleans, and when ever I told them how my body is not susceptible to anesthesia, and my deep fear of needles in general, they reassured me and my babies every time that they will do everything they can in their power to make sure we are comfortable, and they do! I'm not quite there to saying, "oh I love dentist appointments!!" Hahahah but... they are gaining more and more Brownie points from me and my girls! the dentist that treated me did a good job on the filling and they got me in immediately the first time I went. I had some trouble getting into an endodontist that they referred me to and the lady let me sit in the waiting room and make phone calls all day and that was really nice of her the manager was nice they seem to care about me even though they had trouble solving my problems. the caring is what really counts. Mawra was my hygienist and she was so amazing, did a great job at cleaning my teeth and had me walk out the dental office feeling fresh and new! Then Dr. Jen came in and assess my face to make sure I didn’t have cavities or sensitive areas and she did such a great job being so kind and diligent. The dental assistant Jaycie took me back to the room and was so sweet, great to communicate with and has a kind heart. She took my X-rays perfectly and made my experience here amazing coming to the chair! & at the front desk she was so kind I asked for water because I was so thirsty and she quickly came back with 2 cups of water!! She was so nice and kind and I 100% highly recommended this place! You get a goodie bag as well filled with oral hygiene products so you don’t leave empty handed! I’ve had my teeth cleaned twice here already and so 1 year of being with them every six months they do a cleaning and after the cleaning they schedule you right away before leaving so that in 6 months you’re prepared for another cleaning and the work is done for you to schedule. They also have a text message system to get you checked in before even coming into the office so you’re already in line to go back upon appointment. And the text message system keeps you updated frequently about upcoming appointments so I’m super happy with this place and give my recommendation confidentially!-Janee

I had a root canal done here recently, and Dr. Eric and his team were amazing. I have classic dental anxiety, and he was super patient and supportive throughout the process. After my crown was placed it didn’t feel quite right, and I was able to get in the next day to have it adjusted. The ladies at the front desk are awesome too. They’re very helpful and incredibly friendly.

I will never go anywhere else again! I had a HUGE fear of going to the dentist and I felt like someone my age and what I've been through was embarrassing enough to keep me from going to see anyone. I called and Valerie was SO compassionate, empathetic, and encouraging! In no way did they try and force or speed things up. Dr. Abbey was FANTASTIC! She put my fears and worries at ease. The entire staff is incredible and made me feel so safe and well taken care of. All my kids go here and I'm happy to be joining the dental express family. Highly recommend

I just got my teeth cleaned and checked! Everyone I met including Dr Zeki, manager Whitney, front desk Rarely were so friendly and helpful! Especially the dental assistant Bethany, she took her time to clean my teeth. She even thanked me for taking care of my teeth so that my teeth didn't have a lot of build ups!!!

I would highly recommend this dentist office because they were very kind and they have an impeccable staff service. Daisy and Dr.Lopp were very nice and incredibly helpful. Daisy gave details about everything that was going on and was super communicative with me throughout the whole teeth cleaning process! I got a teeth cleaning from Bethany, and I can’t compliment her highly enough for doing really excellent work on teeth that hadn’t seen a cleaning in far too long, and just having the best bedside manner I’ve ever had at dental office. It’s clear there’s a culture of really good hospitality at this office; everyone there is awesome. I’ve been in 3 times now, and I’ve enjoyed how efficient it’s been, how pleasant everyone has been, and the transparency of the recommended treatments and billing. Great job!

I am 74 years old and I have been to more dental offices than I can count. This office is by far the best that I have been to. Everyone is friendly and professional. When a veneer fell off I was able to schedule an appointment online for the next day. I am a Denti-Cal patient, And this Office treats me with dignity and respect. I especially want to thank Dr. Eric and his assistant, CRIZZA, who have been especially kind to me. I just had my third appointment here and all I can say is that they are amazing here! I had horrid horrid teeth issues and just awful experiences with dentists in general. I came to this office a little weary and ready to get my work done that was essential and disappear again because I got scared or treated badly. This office and every single person I have had the pleasure of working with front office and back are amazing understanding and immensely patient people! This dental practice is amazing! I hadn't been to the dentist in around 8 years, and i was expecting to get some lectures about it. Neither the hygienist or doctor made me feel bad about that and were very understanding. Also, I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair and have severe panic. They not only made me feel at ease, but the hygienist did the whole cleaning right from my own wheelchair. Not having to transfer made the experience much less anxiety ridden and comfortable for me. The hygienist was extremely kind and knowledgeable. After not going for 8 years, I'm no longer afraid to go because of the experience I had here at Dental Express in Escondido.

COVID struck so I was unable to see my dentist for almost two years. That worked just fine as the time was right to look for a better clinic anyway. I read all the positive reviews given to Dental Express and made an appointment. I was not disappointed.The place is very clean, the staff are efficient and welcoming. The overall vibe is relaxing. Everyone is very friendly and shout out to Sam, Omar and Daniella for putting me at ease.They have new equipment and the technology. If you have been to the place, you would know what it means when I say that the “train” is amusing.Dr. Michele did the cleaning and was not at all judgmental. Dr. Jamie is the best. Came here once to get my son's teeth checked after a small accidental hit in the mouth playing around with his sister. He turned out to be ok. They are very nice, kind and courteous. My son absolutely loved the train surprise and the Dentist that saw him is so nice and pleasant as well as the Dental assistant and the staff. Had a terrible pain in my wisdom tooth, they saw me same day without an appointment and were able to do an extraction. I am not in pain anymore and they were a breeze to deal with. When it came to payment they accepted my insurance and allowed my to cover my copay with Apple Pay which helped a lot as I only had my ID and medical card on me. There waiting area was really nice and all there equipment seemed brand new. If your looking for a dentist in San Diego I would not hesitate to check out Dental Express.

I have been a patient here for about eight years. Dr. Davis & ALL of the staff (there's literally too many great people to name individually!) are all SO friendly, caring, calming, knowledgeable & professional. From the office managers, the front desk staff, & the dental hygienists, to the dentists themselves. They have "saved" me many times...toothaches are the worst, but they treat your pain immediately. They are VERY good at helping people with "dental anxiety"/dentophobia. I've also witnessed them taking special care of children to alleviate their fears. The staff there are all really underappreciated & deserve kudos for their hard work & extreme professionalism.....👏I ALMOST look forward to going to the dentist! First visit to Dental Express was to help my son with a cavity procedure that was started at Western Dental (not his pediatric dentist of 13 years as it required an endodontist) but the procedure was not, in my opinion, being treated properly or in a timely manner. My son was seen immediately and treated well at Dental Express. This is a clean, pleasant office atmosphere and staff. My son was so happy with his care that he decided to continue all dental care at Dental Express for the foreseeable future and I think it is a positive transition from his pediatric dentist as a teenager, Dental Express will continue to support his positive outlook on dental care and foster a healthy view of Dentistry into adulthood. If you have teen in need of an endodontist or transitioning from pediatric Dentistry I highly recommend this office.Five firm stars

What an amazing place and amazing staff!!! I am terrified of going to the dentist and haven't seen a dentist since my last visit at another dental place that I had a bad experience. But from the very beginning scheduling our 1st appt with Beth over the phone as new patients for the whole family. Everything was so convenient filling out the forms via text message before our scheduled appts.Then we checked in with Valerie for both my husband and I. My appt was an hour after my husbands, but they were able to see me before my scheduled appt time.The Dental Hygienist Marla was so awesome and made everything seem easy, then Dr. Sam was able to identify why I was having pain. Same day able to do my cleaning and filling. My husband was able to do the same. They gave us our bill and it was affordable for both of us to continue on and get our crown appt scheduled for a later date. Definitely our New Dental Place to come to and so happy that our kids can be seen here as well!!! Thank you to the amazing staff here at Dental Express Santee!!!

I went to three other highly rated doctors, one a specialist, before coming here to Dr. Jamie. They got me in at the last minute on a Saturday because I was in excruciating pain. His primary objective was to get me out of pain but he gave me more than that. With a confident diagnosis and treatment plan, he started me on the way to recovery and I'm extremely grateful for his cool head and clear communication and empathy.

Not all superheroes wear capes..My sister had 14 cavities when I got her. She’s had to have 4 different trips to get these cavities filled. I took her to the dentist I trusted (having horrible experiences before meant a lot for me to have my sister have better dentist experiences).Dr. David has been so kind and patient with her. I’m new to San Diego and needed to find a dentist as I was overdue for a check up. I get irrationally nervous at dentists, and I was originally dreading the appointment. However, my nerves were instantly diminished when I stepped into the office. Every member of the staff was kind and welcoming and consistently asked if I was comfortable during my procedures. They didn’t hesitate to answer any questions, and they made following up quick and easy. The office is modern, clean, and the use the latest gadgets and technology. Parking is limited unless you want to find a meter or pay $8 at the ACE lot across the street. I’m really happy I listened to other reviews on this office and made the decision to make an appointment.

Dental express is an amazing dental office the front desk is so nice and office is very clean organized and pleasant to be in. Robert was so patient, polite, and nice great conversation. Dr Marty gave me a lot of information and was very honest with what needs done and gave me options as far as anesthesia for what I could afford due to my insurance. I had such a great experience at Dental Express! My cleaning was very thorough but still gentle. Dr Jaime was kind and made me feel so comfortable even though it had been a year and a half since my last visit. Walking into the lobby for my appointment every thing was cleanly. Shortly after I checked in, I was seen very quickly. I went in for a dental cleaning and the hygienist Marwa was very gentle and cleaned all of the build up off my teeth. Richard assisted with polishing my teeth and was very easy going. Finally the dentist Dr. Marty filled in my cracked tooth and cavity pain free. I did not need any numbing agents and it felt about as natural of a dental cleaning and check up would ever be, pain free. Thanks dental express!! See you on my next check up.

For dental offices that actually accept Medi-Cal, there is no better office than Dental Express Clairemont. They are always very friendly and professional. I got sent to another dental office in San Diego for a deep clean gum scraping and when I showed up at Dental Express for my regular cleaning, the hygienist informed me that I would need a deep cleaning even though I just got one 6 months ago. This was simply a result of the other dental office doing a bad job and barely removing any build up. The awesome hygienist at Dental Express Clairemont not only fixed the other office's poor work but did it with such care and soft hands that I didn't even need to be numbed. She was very nice and efficient throughout the whole process making me feel comfortable and confident that my gums would actually be clean this time. Thank you for doing such a great job and saving me a trip back to that other terrible office that couldn't do it right the first time. I truly appreciate the excellent care I received at Dental Express Clairemont and would recommend them to anyone.

Just got a wisdom tooth extracted and every part of the process was quick, easy and friendly. I was in and out of my appointment in 20 minutes with relatively no discomfort at all. Very pleasantly surprised. This is definitely my new go-to dental office!

Love this place!! I was having horrible pain and I could not get an appointment anywhere. They took me the next morning and the office is great. From the staff to Dr Michelle, everything was amazing. Highly recommend and will be coming here for any dental needs.

After many bad, pain filled dental experiences with many dentists over 30+ years, finally I found Dental Express in Downtown San Diego. Their office is equipped with all fancy, new, up-to-date instruments and technology that I’ve never seen. So pleasantly easy, quick and nearly painless. Seriously, I never knew going to the dentist could be painless. The three Dentists from Dental Express that have taken such great care of me over this year, so well I don’t ever want to go to a different dentist again.

I had such a great experience getting my cleaning at this office! The front desk girls are so welcoming and professional. My family has been coming here for about 2 years now and we always great treatment when My kids and I go. They are upfront about treatment plans and don’t pressure unnecessary treatments. Excelente servicio ,si tubiera mas estrellas se las daria sin titubear, las chicas super amables una de ellas Ericka asta me tomaba la mano cuando yo empezaba a ponerme nerviosa como todo paciente que va por primera vez y ella decia vas a estar bien respira ,me ayudo bastante me retiraron 3 muelas y la verdad fue facilisimo y no tuve molestia alguna el doctor me dijo solo voy a revisar y me saco las muelas increible que paresca ,fue de lo mas rapido 💯 recomendado,volvere pronto ya quiero aser mi segunda cita,ya esperábamos una clinica asi en este vecindario ,recomendaré amigos 😃

After reading some other reviews I decided to give this place a shot for a tooth extraction and bone graft. Dr. Abigail was simply amazing to say the least. Dr. Michelle is excellent and has the best bed side manner. Christina who did my cleaning did a fantastic job. I always put off going to the dentist because it is such a painful experience. Not here! I came all the way from Lake Elsinore and it was so worth the drive. Best experience ever! I will definitely make this my permanent dentistry office.

My fiancé and i have really bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist. This place is so amazing when it comes to that type of stuff. we both went in for cleanings, and my fiancé is going back today to get his wisdom teeth taken out. The doctor is super reassuring, and the assistance and receptionist are also welcoming. They don’t scold or make you feel ashamed for how your mouth looks, but genuinely just want you to be healthy!
