Dr. Davis is one of the best dentist I have ever seen. I have years of seeing different dentist for different procedures and because of him I am able to smile with confidence again and my ACTUAL oral health has greatly improved and still improving. Dr. Davis repaired multiple crowns after a different dental practice performed faulty crown deliveries. Yes having a great smile is important but having exceptional oral health as a direct result of the proper treatment by a dentist far exceeds all else. The office staff is good and by good I mean they know what they are doing, all you have to do is ask for what you need and they will accommodate. This comes as a beautiful surprise with a hectic work schedule, meetings, kids…. Life. Thank you Dr. Davis, I truly am grateful and you’re an amazing dentist.

I had been going to the community clinic for my dental work as I did not have any kind of insurance, but I stopped going there due to some horrible experiences during the 9 visits in a single year!For that very reason I avoided the dentist for a year and a half. I chose Dental Express over Western Dental and so far, I have been completely satisfied.I chose the Escondido location as well as the dentist of my choosing. Their website is very useful and has bios on all the dentists. I am a military Veteran so naturally I picked Dr. Jaime Ferguson as he also is a Veteran {Navy 10 yrs.}The ENTIRE staff was kind and showed me more compassion than I expected {they even greet you by name as soon as you walk through the door!!} and the office manager even convinced me to stay and give it a try as I had already made up my mind that I was going to leave because I thought I needed complete sedation to have 7 cavities filled. Turns out it was the correct decision. Tomorow I will be having an exam for 2 crowns. I love this place!!!

Today I went to Dental express to have a crown build up. Frankie the assistant was fabulous. He explained everything he was doing. He worked great with the dentist. I was very impressed with his knowledge and Skills. I own a small Business in Santee and will be referring to This Dentist. Great job.

I will miss everyone at Dental Express in Santee. I have to move to Oceanside. Dr. Jerry my dentist is great. It is like not even getting anything done as you don't feel anything and he is fast and does excellent work. I never had crowns before and knew nothing about them but it was a ease with Dr. Jerry. I will add that I am a nervous person and they could ease my mind about anything that was done to my teeth.The office staff is wonderful and Karina is a sweetheart. They have done so much for me and I will never forget them. I am new to a big city like San Diego. They are very welcoming and I feel tears coming now.

Today was my Deep Cleaning visit with Dental Express. Because I suffer from extreme anxiety, I almost did not want to go because of the numbing chemicals used, but I am glad I went ahead with the visit and ride off my anxiety. Well, I survived the fear of medicine going into my body all because of how informative SAUL was and how calm and collected he was during the entire procedure. He is a great conversationalist and he makes you feel at ease and pain free. Can't wait for my next visit with Dental Express staff.

Clean, fast and friendly

I'm in San Diego for awhile from Rhode Island. I had lost a filling. I called Dental Express and they said to come in. There was no waiting. I got in right away and they fixed my problem. Everyone there was extremely nice. I wish they had an office where I live. I can't thank them enough!!!

update: 08/28/24: gave it a year and decided to give Dental express another try and brought my 6 year old in to get a cleaning. All New staff from my last visit. From the front desk girlies to the dental assistant, to the Dentist.... all a outstanding "5" great experience! the Dental Hygienist...well....we'll try to make her smile the next time.I love this place... the office staff and the Hygienist are the best....Unfortunately will not be coming back anytime soon...the dentist have changed and my experience is no longer worth the 5 star I had provided previously. I was given a wrong diagnosis... before getting that surprising root canal...get a second opinion. I was previously a dental assistant.. Such a good experience! I've been so afraid of dentists since having a bad experience as a child but these guys went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and continously checked on me to make sure I was okay.

There's no better dentist in San Diego County for that matter in the western world then The Dental Express whether you are in pain and you need to walk in or whether you want to schedule a routine cleanup. The staff at the front desk? Super helpful and beyond nice! The doctor? Very professional and very caring.. as a almost 30 year old man who's afraid/traumatized from past experiences, I was very uneasy and not happy with having to be there... needless to say as a 30 year old man who had alot of different types of dentists ill be more then happy to come back and even start going to them regularly like everyone should! It's professional and personal at the same time and ill always recommend them before any dentistry I've been to or heard about. Everyone there is just the best!

Dental Express was so Phenomenal. They took me in at the last minute they had an open availability. The receptionist Alma was patient with me and provided great customer service. If you want to have the best dentist in East County, I highly recommend chosing Dental express in Santee. Dr. Marty was GREAT. I'm losing my insurance at the end of the month. Dr.Marty was able to get me in and get all of the work done quick. He was so gentle. I didn't even hardly feel getting numb. My teeth look great. Just had a 19 teeth extraction followed by dentures and i am amazed at how well it went. The procedure was quick and with the help of just one pill I felt no pain! It did get painful after a few days and I was able to be seen without an appointment and a short waiting period. Every time the staff has been really nice and welcoming, caring and very professional. Both dentist are great! Highly recommend this place.

Dr Jerry is VERY patient with me, answers all my questions, and each of his assistants & office personnel take extra time with planning or scheduling my treatment. Dr. Jerry & his assistants ALWAYS ensure my comfort & best interest are put first & foremost. I could not be happier that I found Dental Express and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location for any dental needs you may have. Corrina also let me know about their new membership which has a very reasonable annual fee but immediately will save me over $2000 on my next treatment visit since I have already reached my maximum for this year. 👍🏻

My parents have been patients of Dental Express downtown for several years. The office staff are always accommdating and provide good service. Most recently, Dr. Jennifer placed a crown for my father and he is very happy with the results.

I have not been to a dentist in 10 years- out of fear/insurance issues. I was referred by my Grandma, she told me everyone was sweet and amazing- well she was right!!! I went in for x rays on my wisdom teeth, & they even squeezed me in for a cleaning which was much needed. Mohammad did my cleaning & he was so chill & easy going. No judgement from anyone, just happy I was there. 10/10 recommend this place!! :)

AMAZING place! Top of the line care! I walked in at 9am for an emergency visit (I was experiencing really bad cavity pain) as a walk in/new patient and they had me in within a matter of minutes getting X-rays done and having me placed in a room! I had Dr. Marty come in and explain the work that needed to be done and he ended up taking care of me between patients! His sincere care along with the assistants is something I will never forget. He talked me through every step of my extraction and fillings and I didn’t feel a thing..even when it came to the numbing! If anyone needs top of the line care this is the place to be!! I am switching from that awful place called western dental and making dental express our dentistry home!!

It’s great dental clinic. The staff very polite and professional. Dr. Casey did my tooth root canal within 10-12 minutes. It was pretty fast and painless. Very efficient and pleasant! The dentists there are remarkable and I do not like going to the dentist and I walked out with a smile on my face last week. Dental Express has been my safe haven. After searching for possible dentists, and getting scammed at a different businesses, I FINALLY found the best dental office I’ve ever been with! Their staff is 100/10; caring, funny, kind, helpful, and informative. They go above and beyond to: explain everything for you, answer any questions, and provide incredible services. I use to get nervous going to the dentist, but I’ve finally found a place that is welcoming and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough!! And they have a lil train that rides around the office! Usually love this place. Dr. Casey, Dr. Jaime (no longer at Pt. Loma) and Dr. David are great. Unfortunately, I had the experience of seeing Dr. Lucy for the first time. After reviewing my x-rays, she stuck her instrument in my mouth and started barking numbers to the dental assistant. I am 58 and have had 2 cavities in my life. A cavity from my childhood eventually resulted in a root canal and a crown but that's it! So now Dr. Lucy proceeds to tell me that I have 5 cavities. I am shocked and upset to say the least, which I said to her. Since my last appt. 6 months ago I now have 5 cavities? No, my diet has not changed to just sugar! She kept sticking her instrument in my tooth while I was looking in a mirror to try and see what she was talking about. I couldn't, so now she mentions additional x-rays so I can see. She also mentions my 2 crowns. I correct her and tell her I have 1 crown. I don't think she liked that I corrected her but she looked again and realized there is just 1 crown. She tells me 4 of the cavities need to be taken care of the sooner the better and asks if I had questions. Well yes, I have tons of questions but her complete lack of "bedside manner" made me just want her out of the room. The lovey hygienist (sorry, forgot her name) cleaned my teeth and helped calm me down. I declined the additional x-rays because doubt insurance covers those. The hygienist made my next appt. and noted that I'd like to see Dr. David who I've seen before and I believe we have discussed this demineralization which could potentially turn into a cavity. I've never had pain and I think we're just keeping an eye on things. I realize at 58 your enamel starts to deteriorate but what preventative measures can we take and does "take care of" mean drilling and filling 4 teeth ('cause you know insurance only covers a portion of that)? Dr. Lucy and her "you have this, you need to do that, blah, blah, blah" just made me see dollar signs. All the other dentists I've seen were very personable and complementary on the state of my teeth at my age. Again, love this place and love the staff but Dr. Lucy was the exception. Kindness matters!

The dental staff here are kind, attentive and so amazing with children especially, I appreciated the gentleness and enthusiasm in the process of them doing my 4 year olds check up and cleaning. Dr Jaime is the sweetest, and seriously a pro at what he does, with gentle caring hands and a good joke every now and then! Pregnancy ruined my teeth and I had my silver tooth replaced with a nice enameled looking crown. He even buffed out a filling while he was working, couldn’t imagine being taken care of by anyone else!! Come see him for all your dental needs😌

My 9 year old had the best experience with Dr.Marty and Dr.Donna. This place is like no dentist Ive seen before. My daughter has been traumatized by other dentists and I was scared I wasn’t going to be able to find a good dentist. Dr.Marty is literally a needle in the haystack. They care! The amount of effort and empathy these dentists have is so hard to find and I am so grateful for Dr.Marty and Dr Donna. My kiddo normally needs to go completely under bc of all the trauma and because Dr.Marty is so calm and gentle and is so good with kids she didn’t need to be completely under. The way he speaks to his patients is like nothing I’ve seen before and he doesn’t rush they don’t over book either. Dr.Donna was also very calming and gentle and soothing. It’s almost like they’re trauma experts. The world needs more of these two. Not only did she make my daughter feel comfortable but she was very comforting to me as well. It’s not loud and chaotic here either like the super dentist. They don’t do unnecessary work which is extremely hard to find. I wish I could give more stars for Dr Marty and Dr Donna. I will only go here for me and my kiddo from now on

I ran into a serious issue after 56 years of no dental issues, while I had covid. Dr. Casey and his staff were the best! I had hesitations as I have severe anxiety and I had oral surgery by someone different that I'm still having pain with. Dr. Casey was so gentle, his hygienist so very kind. I felt foolish afterward for crying and the nerves. Any fear I hadwas elevated. Ty so much Dr. Casey and staff for taking such good care of me. I highly recommend Dr. Casey and the Poway location is convenient and easier to get an appointment.The only drawback is the Poway location is only open Tuesday and Wednesday. Their other locations however have more hours of operation. Personally, I love this office!

I have been genetically “gifted” with horrible teeth and have cavities in almost all of them (that I have left). Recently I visited at least 4 dentists and specialists after tremendous pain that I ended up being hospitalized for. None of the dentists/oral surgeons wanted to treat me. I was finally referred to Dental Express in Santee. Dr. Jerry Hernandez is wonderful. I need 5 extractions including a wisdom tooth, a complex root canal, bone grafts, crowns and partial implants and Dr. Hernandez can do All of it! He and his staff are kind, listen to all of your concerns and they’re extremely professional. Their office is conveniently located, beautiful and clean and they have all state of the art equipment. I just wish I found them sooner! Definitely going to have my entire family use this dentist. Obviously highly recommended! 5 stars.

Great Dental practice ! I had the pleasure of working with Rakenya , the team and Dentist to get everything started. I have been putting my teeth off for a while but decided it was finally time. OMG this was the best experience I ever had at a dental office. I received 2 root canals and I didn’t feel any pain, not even the numbing shot hurt. Dr.Mays was amazing she was so kind , she explained every step, and the procedure was pain free. Her and Jemima really took care of me. I loved my experience, and I was able to book an appointment the next day as a new patient. Rochelle was my hygienist and did an amazing job! She gave me sunglasses to block the bright lights while I was laying down, and she was incredibly gentle with removing plaque buildup.Dr. Davis is amazing! You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He is wonderfully personable, and gave me a comprehensive explanation of my X-rays when I was being curious about the different annotations on the screen. In fact, after I asked about the annotations (I was laying down at this point) ended up raising my chair and walked me through his entire review of my X-rays—it was pretty neat.Looking forward to my next cleaning/exam!

This is by far the best dental facility I’ve ever used. Dr. Marty and all the staff really make a concerted effort to take care of your dental work with little to no pain and they actually accommodate your needs instead of the traditional “grin and bear it” method. Me and my family have been coming here for years now and everyone is great. Today I came in for a regular cleaning and the person who did my cleaning her name was Melly was extremely heavy handed, it was the most painful cleaning ever. She also put the foam right on finger and just stuck it in my mouth which I have NEVER had any professional just stick the foam in my mouth with their finger. My dad and my brother have had issues with her due to the same exact thing. Wonderful place but please be aware and stay away from Melly.

I’m giving it a 5 for Dr. Davis Do, the staff, and for the fact that it’s the first time ever where I didn’t feel pressured to do any work on my mouth.They also have the latest technology like the Itero 3D scanner for your mouth. I had some trouble getting into an endodontist that they referred me to and the lady let me sit in the waiting room and make phone calls all day and that was really nice of her the manager was nice they seem to care about me even though they had trouble solving my problems. the caring is what really counts. Definitely the best dental experience i’ve ever had, and I hate going to the dentist. Handled all of my business in one day, my first visit , without the need for a follow up appointment. Dental assistant Omar was incredibly professional and my service was prompt. Dr Jamie, also incredibly professional and explained the process to me, the whole way through. I was very impressed with Bethany, a highly skilled dental hygienist who x rayed and cleaned my teeth. She had a lovely attitude and calmly yet humorous disposition. When you find a real dentist, it's like winning the lottery these days. Had a terrible pain in my wisdom tooth, they saw me same day without an appointment and were able to do an extraction. I am not in pain anymore and they were a breeze to deal with. When it came to payment they accepted my insurance and allowed my to cover my copay with Apple Pay which helped a lot as I only had my ID and medical card on me. There waiting area was really nice and all there equipment seemed brand new. If your looking for a dentist in San Diego I would not hesitate to check out Dental Express.

First visit to Dental Express was to help my son with a cavity procedure that was started at Western Dental (not his pediatric dentist of 13 years as it required an endodontist) but the procedure was not, in my opinion, being treated properly or in a timely manner. My son was seen immediately and treated well at Dental Express. This is a clean, pleasant office atmosphere and staff. My son was so happy with his care that he decided to continue all dental care at Dental Express for the foreseeable future and I think it is a positive transition from his pediatric dentist as a teenager, Dental Express will continue to support his positive outlook on dental care and foster a healthy view of Dentistry into adulthood. Very nice to teenagers!!!! Teenage girls are a challenge sometimes especially when you’ve done everything to have them be nice and polite to it. They still learn “snobbish” behavior..... those that have daughters understand. I nip that in the butt when I see it.

Highly recommend Dental Express!! My wife needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction because she was in so much pain, not only did they get her in within 4hrs, they also took amazing care of her. Dr. Jamie and his assistant Lindsey were amazing, and comforting! Rachel at the front was a doll and so so helpful, Shannon, and Whitney were also very friendly! I hadn't been to a dentist in 7 years, but when I walked into the Point Loma office I was immediately put at ease. The office is friendly and professional. I'm going back next week for a cleaning and discussion on a crown. The office is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and a short walk from my home. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment and will have more to say next week.

I was referred to Dental Express by a co-worker. I am so happy I was. I loved everyone there, they are uplifting and happy people and professional They make you feel so comfortable, you forget any apprehension that you get when you go to the dentist. They are the Best. I've gone a few times this month because I needed quite a bit of work done, I haven't been to the dentist in at least 6 years. Dr. Marty was very friendly and explained everything and made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The nurses were also very nice, and the desk staff as well. I will keep going to this dentist, and I recommend them. They also worked on my 6 year olds teeth and treated her very well, they kept her comfortable, and had patience with her. They are also very fast, the few times that I've gone I've been out in about an hour. Highly recommend.
